Christina Gustafsson
Christina, originally from Stockholm in Sweden, is an international rider and horse trainer having spent the last 16 years educating, training and competing horses at all levels. Christina also holds private training sessions and clinics for other riders.
Christina owned her own yard in Stockholm with 30 boxes, an indoor arena, cafe and accommodation for riders. This was a successful Sales, Training and Livery business giving her great experience which she now brings to the OBrien & Gustafsson Stables.
Since 2005 Christina has broadened her career experience by living and working abroad. She has worked in Germany, Holland and Belgium where she was at the centre of European show jumping and horse business.
Christina has had a fine selection of horses over the years. Breeding, buying, training and competing at all levels. Some of the horses that stand out are:

Julius- Race Holsteiner. E: Cantus Ue: Coriander. This fantastic horse jumped with Christina on two winning Nations Cup teams for Sweden in Athens and Kechkemet, they also had a double clear for the Swedish team in Zagreb. Christina and Julius had great success at numerous Grand Prixs with especially great memories from Falsterbo.

Lime - E: Leendert Ue: Rafa-L. Lime was bought as a 6 year old, competed 1.45m as a 7 year old and won the "Landesmeisterschaft Schleswig Holstein" in Germany as a 9 year old. She was beautiful, careful and had excellent technique.

Dooleys Deluxe - E:Dinglinger - LA Luna Lesotio. A horse Christina produced from a 4 year old up to Grand Prix as an 8 year old. Dooleys was placed in 3 Grand Prixs out of 3 on the Sunshine Tour Vejer De La Frontera 2012 before being sold to Canadian International rider Vanessa Manix

Jack London - purchased as a 6 year old and produced to Grand Prix level at De Warre in Belgium before being sold to Stal Hendrix in Holland. He is now competing successfully on the American circuit

Cora - purchased as a 5 year old and produced for 2 years up to 1.35m before being sold to Denmark where she competed successfully as a junior horse
Having met David in Belgium in 2010, Christina moved to Ireland the following year estabishing a new family life and bringing her career to the next level based from Ireland.
